A
known child-killer was about to be secretly paid off by the Canadian
government without you even being allowed to know. You saw the headlines,
now hear what the RCMP did not want you to know...
What began
as a public inquiry to identify the person or persons responsible for the
murder of just one little girl,
has led to a startling but inescapable
conclusion. The only suspect, an RCMP "agent", is now suspected of being a
serial killer. The last remaining witnesses live in fear for their own
safety, not from the murder suspect, but from the RCMP!
This all came to light when a young immigrant
couple moved to Canada the land of their dreams, in search of a better life
for their children. Their eight year old daughter Mindy Tran
was murdered, the RCMP investigation badly botched. A suspect was arrested
but then acquitted after a controversial investigation and trial. The police
were forced to investigate themselves but withheld most of the concluding
report. What little was released was damning, even stating that certain
unnamed officers had failed to live up to their duty as members of the RCMP.
Yet no charges were laid against any of these officers.
Investigation findings
The public was confused by the strange behavior
exhibited by the RCMP and as a result, left uncertain as to whether the real
killer had even been found. Shannon Murrin, the suspected killer, proclaimed
his innocence and sued the police for their actions. He claimed that he and
his new girlfriend, who is also one of his former jurors, were about to
reveal all in an upcoming book that was to be put on sale in the spring of
2003. Shannon Murrin said that he was calling for a public inquiry.
Murrin’s book
The RCMP still stands by their claim that the investigation
was thorough and that the right man had been arrested. Members of the RCMP
claimed to also want the investigation report on their conduct released to
clear their name.
This has not been allowed
and all
subsequent media requests for this report have been continually denied.
Media Request
A
frightened witness came forward after the trial with new information
identifying a previously undisclosed residence as the destination of the
person suspected of killing Mindy Tran. Although this witness believed that
the person he saw was Shannon Murrin, this residence was not where Murrin
claimed to be and is not mentioned in any of the RCMP investigation reports
or court documents. This witness was assaulted and threatened during a home
invasion just prior to Murrin's trial by masked assailants claiming to be
the RCMP. He is calling for an investigation into the events that
obstructed him from becoming identified as a witness to Mindy Tran's
abduction. A reward was offered and a flyer circulated in an attempt to
locate a key piece of now missing evidence, the reports of his
vehicle from the night of the abduction.

A
CBC producer received information that Shannon Murrin was an RCMP informant/
agent, and that Sgt. Tidsbury the lead RCMP investigator of Mindy Tran's
murder, was actually Murrin’s "handler". The producer arranged for an
interview with Sgt. Tidsbury during which, the reporter solicited an
admission from Tidsbury that Murrin was indeed an informant. Sgt. Tidsbury
ordered this to be kept off the record. Despite the producer's keen interest
in this story, her ensuing request to investigate this connection was
stopped by her superiors. She left the CBC shortly afterwards. Sgt. Tidsbury
has hardly spoken to the press since.
In a highly
unusual move, National Security Regulations were even cited during Murrin's
trial as the reason for withholding details of the RCMP investigation from
the jury.
Testimony
which would have identified a unique
physical characteristic common to both Mindy's killer
and to Shannon Murrin
was
with held from the public and the jury.
Murrin’s
"tell all" book is now long over due and seldom mentioned by either Murrin
or the press. The RCMP’s concluding report on their own conduct which
included washing the DNA evidence from the victim's clothing has never been
released. The RCMP have never publicly acknowledged Murrin’s status as an
RCMP agent and the media is not pursuing the role that this may have played
in the proceedings. The RCMP review of the RCMP investigation exonerated
all RCMP members of any wrongdoing.

Even
now, Shannon Murrin is still receiving an unusual amount of assistance from
some highly placed individuals, including from a former judge.

A recent news report claims that the RCMP
may even be secretly arranging to pay off Shannon Murrin and a juror
that helped to acquit him.

The RCMP said that this case was closed
unless new information could be found. However, when new information was
provided, they refused to investigate. The identity of the killer, his
accomplices, and or additional witnesses could all be uncovered. This
information would either identify a previously unknown suspect or confirm
that the killer was actually Shannon Murrin.
The prime
suspect in Mindy Tran's murder appears to have escaped justice solely
because of the obstructing actions of his RCMP handlers. The public has a
right to know the identity of, and to be alerted to the dangers posed, by
any child-killer living among them.
Serious questions are
being asked in regard to this case. Did members of the RCMP deliberately
blow the case against
the prime suspect?
A public inquiry was initiated in order to identify the killer and answer
this question.

As hard as this is to believe, if
this investigation is allowed to remain as is,
it will be Canada's first confirmed
case of an
RCMP sanctioned child-killer!

THIS CHILD
KILLER AND HIS ACCOMPLICES STILL REMAIN ON THE LOOSE. All OF OUR CHILDREN
ARE AT RISK. THE RCMP ARE ONLY BEING CALLED UPON TO DO THEIR JOB AND
COMPLETE THIS INVESTIGATION NO MATTER WHO IS IMPLICATED. THEY NEED YOUR
SUPPORT. CALL AND PETITION YOUR LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONAL, MEDIA
REPRESENTATIVES, AND ELECTED OFFICIALS TO COMPLETE THIS INVESTIGATION OR TO
INITIATE A NEW AND UNBIASED INVESTIGATION OF MINDY TRAN'S MURDER BY AN
HONEST AND COMPETENT INVESTIGATOR.
The handling of this case by the RCMP
has far reaching implications. A similar pattern of obstruction is now being
discovered in many other murder cases in which the prime suspects were also
RCMP informants.
