Yet one may be offered a choice of death by bullet to the head or the chest and see that democracy is not the mere ability to vote; rather it is the choice to enter [or not] the issue on which our vote may be required. The key to democracy, then, is a set of just and coherent principles that are founded on the tenet that the only legitimate authority is over SELF - which then may be delegated by democratic process.

The truth be told, there is little imperative difference between either the Democratic or Republican parties in the United States, and the trend is true in all of our other so-called democracies. 

All parties agree [wrongly] that private property and/or labour belongs to the government, and by way of taxation, the labour of all is appropriated by force to lesser or greater degree - this is a common dogma, and you are forced to comply. Once this forced expropriation of  labour is excepted as a fundamental part of democracy, it ceases, therefore, to be democratic. So other issues by which the expropriation is "justified" become the "misdirection platform" on which a dictatorship [the measure is not really important] is secured.

If the goal of a government is to impart a police state, it is best that such a need be both masked and universally accepted by all the "choices" under the illusory banner of "democracy". Other issues, therefore, become the mask for which the tyranny is introduced [usually in ever increasing increments: social programs, nanny state, police state] so as to "build trust" and direct attention away from intended or inevitable purpose.

Lenin referred to those "electorate" that accomplish such aims by folly and ignorance as "useful idiots". He described those people living in liberal "democracies" who by giving moral and material support to a totalitarian ideology in effect were braiding the rope that would hang them.

Why, then, would people who enjoyed freedom and prosperity work passionately to destroy both?

We may be able to gleam some insight by examining some of the reported "hot button" issues that have arisen in both the Canadian and US political campaigns: those of Abortion and Terrorism.

Interestingly enough, both of these issues involve the wholesale and premeditated slaughter of human life; and while there are many more killed by abortion [Some 50 Million in the US since 1973] than terrorism, we see increasingly entrenched support for abortion, and ever increasing fear and revulsion of "terrorism".

Part of the means of misdirection is in creating the 'seemingly opposing sides' of either, to the common goal of both. In other words, all people oppose "terrorism" and half oppose "abortion", hence those seeking to destroy freedom and prosperity deal essentially uniformly with the issue of terrorism [hence little debate or division of policies is needed or created], while seemingly giving people the illusion of political choice [or democracy] by enflaming the issue of abortion, for which people are profoundly split. Terrorism thereby becomes the perfect Trojan Horse from which to launch the ultimate goal of establishing the police state, by controlling BOTH political parties.

Radical Women's groups, for example, are uniformly critical of the Republican Party for what they fear is a "pro-life" stance on unborn children; yet under Republican rule, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and William Rehnquist have done nothing whatsoever to limit abortion. Furthermore, the "right to abortion" in Roe was invented by GOP-appointed Harry Blackmun. In Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the Court upheld Roe on the strength of Republican appointees Sandra Day O'Connor, Anthony Kennedy, John Paul Stevens, David Souter, and Harry Blackmun. The worst they've done, from the perspective of the radical left, is perhaps limit the reach of the 'interstate commerce clause'.

"Liberal" judges, meanwhile, have endorsed "laws" that put you at risk of arrest if you pray at a high-school football game. You were watching the right hand, while the left stole your wallet, or in this case, more of your inherent rights.

Meanwhile, ever expanding federal law-enforcement powers continue to grow, and both Democratic and Republican hopefuls now boast and almost compete over how much more power they will grant, under the idea that our "peace and safety" is in imminent peril. In fact, you have a far FAR better chance of being struck by lightening or a falling tree, than becoming a victim of actual terrorism.

The media marvels at the great "abortion debate" as a means to sell [or misdirect] the idea of our "great democracy at work", while the "only viable choices for government" , as the media keeps telling us, slip in their increased government stranglehold on our liberty.

Is this something new; something we could not possibly foresee? I leave the solution to that question entirely up to you.

When America was founded in 1776-89, our Forefathers created the Government according to Christian principles. This is not to say that our major political leaders were born-again Christians. What we are saying is that Puritan Christianity was so prevalent among the American population that it influenced all of society, and that political leaders held its views, even though they were not personally saved. Also, many of the leaders immediately below the top echelon were born-again believers.

The net result was that our major fundamental documents which created our system of Government contained Christian precepts from beginning to end. Our Declaration of Independence, our Constitution, and our Bill of Rights were all products of Christian doctrine. Most people do not realize that the Constitutional Congress created a 5-man committee to write the Declaration of Independence. One of these men was a fundamentalist preacher of great standing in the Colonies. His active presence on the committee ensured that the dominant Christian viewpoint was amply expressed.

The American Government was created with a Christian foundation, resulting in a series of Governments who, in varying degrees, reflected Christian concerns, compassions, and direction. The American people born in succeeding generations also have been influenced in their attitudes and actions by this Christian foundation.

However, since the mid-1960's, this Christian foundation has been rejected.

Indeed, earlier this year Democratic pollster Celinda Lake began to spread the word that the Democrats would never retake the White House unless they began to reach out to the critical male vote. But the powerful feminist faction within the Democratic Party was none too happy with that idea.

Liberal John Kerry has closely aligned himself with the feminist cause. So when it became clear that Kerry would be named as the Democratic presidential candidate, Lake gave up on her crusade.

Of course the Democrats have every right to target women. But what is interesting is how the Kerry campaign plans to court the female electorate.

That strategy became apparent on the first day that John Kerry campaigned with his new running mate John Edwards. On July 7, an upbeat Kerry boasted that his team has "better vision, better ideas," and - get this -- "we've got better hair." Men, of course, have little interest in a candidate's hairdo.

A look at the Kerry website reveals that Kerry believes that women will fall for all manner of obsequious pandering. This is what John Kerry is telling American women:

1. "We need a president who will put the American government and legal system back on the side of women."

The truth is, practically every federal government agency has an office devoted to women's issues. But none - that's right, none -- has an office designated for men. The Congress and Supreme Court have enacted and upheld countless laws intended to help women, including the Violence Against Women Act, abortion rights, sexual harassment rules, and many others.

2. "John Kerry will increase funding for breast and cervical cancer research."

The American Cancer Society reports that 230,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2004, compared to 216,000 women told they have breast cancer. But at the National Cancer Institute, funding for breast cancer outstrips prostate cancer by more than a 3:1 margin. Mr. Kerry, please help us to understand why any fair-minded woman would want to make that research disparity even worse?

3. "We must ensure that women earn equal pay for equal work."

On average, men work 2,147 hours a year, compared to 1,675 hours for women. Men work in the more hazardous occupations such as construction and mining. And men have more work qualifications than women. [95 Percent of all work related deaths occur to male workers]

The myth of gender wage discrimination has been debunked by the Women's Freedom Network and the Independent Women's Forum. Anyone who still claims that women are paid unfairly is being intellectually dishonest, or is a die-hard incurable socialist.

American women are arguably the most privileged of any group in history. But the Kerry-Edwards website makes it sound like women are on the verge of being shipped back to their suburban concentration camps: "But today, women are witnessing an unprecedented erosion of their basic rights."

This past Monday, Kerry's strategy to advance the radical feminist agenda was unveiled at a so-called "She Party" (rhymes with Tea Party - get it?). The featured speaker was the feminists' "secret weapon:" none other than Peggy Kerry, sister of John.

And Peggy didn't beat around the bush. "There are three things my brother is going to do when he's elected president," she promised. John will restore $34 billion in funding for the UN Population Fund for abortion services. Then he will assure the Senate ratifies the Convention for the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women. Third, Kerry will "appoint pro-choice judges to the Supreme Court."

There's no doubt that the Democrats' appeal to the massive white male electorate will continue to decline. So the question is, what will American women think of John Kerry's sexy new hairdo?
 

According to The Next Magazine, during a banquet hosted by a Taiwanese

businessman, a servant Ms Liu from Liaoning province on the mainland inadvertently

revealed the habit of eating infants/fetuses in Liaoning province and her intention to

return for the supplement due to health concerns. The Taiwanese women present

were horrified.

Ms Liu also disclosed that even though people can afford the human parts there are

still waiting lists and those with the right connections get the "highest quality" human

parts, which translates to the more mature fetuses. A male fetus is considered the

"prime" human part.

At the The Next Magazine's request, Ms Liu personally escorted the reporter to a

location where a fetus was being prepared. The reporter observed a woman chopping

up a male fetus and making soup from the placenta. During the process, the woman

even tried to comfort everyone by saying, "Don't be afraid, this is just the flesh of a

higher animal."

The New World Order increasingly resembles a '50's Sci-Fi movie where the protagonist discovers his family and neighbors have been brainwashed and he begins to question his own sanity.

If you watched the Democratic National Convention, you might be feeling the same way.

Fifty per cent of Americans, and probably 80% of Democrats, believe Iraq is a tragic and unnecessary blunder, yet John Kerry promises more of the same, only better.

Democracy is about giving the people a real choice. Yet no one questioned this.

There was hardly a dissenting voice at the convention. Everyone applauded on cue. Even Howard Dean seemed lobotomized. He now liked the war. He'd learned his lesson.

Protestors were stuck in a cage three blocks away.

Is this America's vaunted "Freedom"? Nuremberg with straw hats and balloons?

Democrats chanted like first-graders: "We can do better." "Help is on the way."

They were treated like simpletons and they stooped to the challenge. The appeal was to mawkish sentiment not to intellect or reason.

Hallelujah! Kerry is going to cure cancer! Believe in him!

And the weird thing is, you want to! But this man can't even be candid about his Jewish ancestry, that of his wife, and his membership with George W. Bush in the satanic Skull and Bones.

In a slip of the tongue, Kerry pledged more forces for "terrorist work."

He quickly corrected himself: "anti-terrorist work."

Americans are told they are under siege and must give up the protection of the Bill of Rights and Constitution.

It doesn't matter that there hasn't been a terrorist attack in the US for almost three years. There have been no reports of apprehended attacks, arrests and trials. This is right out of the textbook on how dictatorships operate.

[The absurd Orange Alert Monday based on three-year-old information seems designed to discredit the government, drive people crazy, and accustom them to seeing machine-gun-toting troops on the streets.]

BRAINWASHING

In the future, sanity will be based on your willingness to accept lying platitudes such as those peddled by John Kerry and George Bush.

Future? It's already happening. Those who expose the elite conspiracy are "right wing fanatics," "anti Semites", "hate mongers" and "conspiracy nuts."

Now, I refer you to "The Soviet Art of Brainwashing," a textbook that was used in Communist training schools both in the USA and Russia starting in the 1930's.

Remember Communism was never a "working class revolt." It was created by the Illuminati (Kabalistic bankers and British-American bluebloods like Bush and Kerry) to control the common man and enact their one-world dictatorship.

The textbook suggests that we are currently the subjects of mass hypnosis, which relies on trauma through the application of terror.

"In order to induce a high state of hypnosis in an individual, a group, or a population, an element of terror must always be present on the part of those who would govern." (Part II, Ch.6)

But if we say so, we are "paranoid."

"The by-word should be built into the society that paranoia is a condition "in which the individual believes he is being attacked by Communists." It will be found that this defense is effective." (II- Ch 10)

"The populace must be brought into the belief that every individual within it who rebels ... against the efforts and activities to enslave the whole, must be considered to be a deranged person ...and... be given electric shocks, and reduced into unimaginative docility for the

THE ELITE ART OF BRAINWASHING (i.e. UNIVERSITY EDUCATION)

The textbook suggests that psycho political agents took control of the US in the first decades of the twentieth century.

"In the United States we have been able to alter the works of William James, and others, ...and to place the tenets of Karl Marx, Pavlov, Lamarck, and the data of Dialectic Materialism into the textbooks of psychology, to such a degree that anyone thoroughly studying psychology becomes at once a candidate to accept the reasonableness of
Communism.

"As every chair of psychology in the United States is occupied by persons in our connection, the consistent employment of such texts is guaranteed... Educating broadly the educated strata of the populace into the tenets of Communism is thus rendered relatively easy." (II,
Ch. 11)

The textbook calls these teachers "psycho political operatives" and their role is to brainwash the young. Most humanities and social science professors today are conscious agents, brainwashed dupes, or live in fear of the former.

Communists (elite Satanists) view man as (I quote) "a mechanism without individuality." He is "basically an animal" with a "civilized veneer." Like an animal, he can be forced to believe and do anything given the right combination of terror, deception, drugs and brute

The goal of "psycho politics" is to "produce the maximum chaos in the culture of the enemy," and to "leave a nation leaderless."


MORE ABOUT THE PSYCHO POLITICAL OPERATIVE

The textbook advocates the use of doctors, social workers, psychiatrists and the whole field of "mental healing" to bring about the Satanic goal. (We can extrapolate to include politicians like John Kerry and George Bush. Journalists and just about anyone with mainstream power and influence are suspect.)

Mental healers are not suppose to heal anyone, and are instructed to drive out competent people.

"Mental health organizations must carefully delete from their ranks anyone actually proficient in the handling or treatment of mental health." (II Ch. 9)

"The psycho political operative should also spare no expense in smashing out of existence, by whatever means, any actual healing group, such as that of acupuncture, in China; such as Christian Science, Dianetics and faith healing in the United States; such as Catholicism in Italy and Spain; and the practical psychological groups of England." (II-9)

The textbook claims Communists took over the Freudian movement and the field of psychoanalysis, which has been "made fashionable," and is useful because of its "stress on sex." This serves the purposes of "degradation" and "defamation of character" i.e. blackmail. (II-9)

"Recruitment into the ranks of "mental healing" can best be done by carefully bringing to it only those healing students who are, to some slight degree, already depraved, or who have been "treated" by psycho political operatives. Recruitment is effected by making the field of
mental healing very attractive, financially, and sexually."

"The promise of unlimited sexual opportunities, the promise of complete dominion over the bodies and minds of helpless patients, the promise of having lawlessness without detection, can thus attract to "mental healing" many desirable recruits who will willingly fall in line with psycho political activities." Alfred Kinsey is a prime example of the "psycho political operative." In "The Kinsey Report" (1948) Kinsey influenced heterosexuals to adopt homosexual behaviour by lying about his surveys. OTHER PSYCHO POLITICAL OPERATIVES

Clearly "psycho political operatives" have infiltrated all institutions: military, religion, law, mass media, education and business. They have infiltrated all religions and political parties of every stripe. In the US, they are coordinated by the CFR, CIA , the Rockefeller network of Foundations, NGO's, think tanks, professional associations and Freemasonry.

Here are some more instructions for these operatives:

"You must work until "religion" is synonymous with "insanity. You must work until the officials of city, county and state governments will not think twice before they pounce upon religious groups as public enemies." (II-14)

"Movements to improve youth should be invaded and corrupted, as this might interrupt campaigns to produce in youth delinquency, addiction, drunkenness, and sexual promiscuity." (II-15)

Seek out " the leaders in the country's future, and educate them into the belief of the animalistic nature of Man. This must be made fashionable. They must be taught to frown upon ideas, upon individual endeavour. They must be taught, above all things that the salvation of Man is to be found only by his adjusting thoroughly to this environment. ...Nations, which have high ethical tone, are difficult to conquer. CONCLUSION

As you can see, the gradual degradation of Western society, the obsession with possessions, pleasure, sex (pornography), violence and trivia, is not random or commercial in nature. It is a deliberate preparation for destruction and tyranny.

Leaders like George W. Bush and John Kerry are psycho political agents. Their job is to lie and manipulate, i.e. brainwash us. Their masters are a Satan worshipping cabal headed by Jacob Rothschild headquartered in the City of London. They literally own the mass media; what they don't own they control through advertising.

This cabal represents a marriage (often literally) between Illuminati Jewish finance and Anglo American "aristocracy." This cabal is behind Communism, Zionism, Nazism, Liberalism, Socialism, Freemasonry and Feminism.

These 'isms play a part in undermining the four pillars of human identity and solidarity: nation, race, religion and family. You can add liberty and private property, which they also intend to abolish (i.e. confiscate.)

It's all outlined in the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" which calls for an "aristocracy of wealth." This is not a "forgery" and to say so is not anti Semitic.

Jews have been duped like everyone else. Millions of basically good people are fooled by idealistic-sounding platitudes: "change the world," "create social justice," fight the "Patriarchy," stop "anti Semitism", defeat "superstition" and bring " freedom."

As Gandhi said, "the devil uses honest people to do his work."

We can recognize the moral and natural order by the happiness and health of those who follow it. Only genuinely religious people and conservatives appear willing to defend it.

You cannot make a deal with the devil. His enticements are only designed to weaken. His intention is to enslave and destroy.

Civilization depends on the belief that truth is absolute and knowable. The New World Order dictatorship depends on convincing us that truth is whatever they say it is.

We are brainwashed. Will we awake before it is too late? Are we already too craven and venal to act?

Rupert Murdoch, the conservative media mogul whose New York Post tabloid savaged Hillary Clinton’s initial aspirations to become a US senator for New York, has agreed to host a political fundraiser for her re-election campaign, reports the Financial Times.

Such elite back slapping and shoulder rubbing again highlights that when it comes to getting ahead it pays to be on the same page.

The notion that leading Democrats and Republicans are in opposition is ludicrous. The belief that a true left / right paradigm still exists in global politics is as antiquated as a grandfather clock in a coffin.

The Anglo-American aristocracy, big businesses and banks have long been pulling the strings behind the curtain in the theatre of politics and underlings such as the Clintons and the Bushes know what they have to do to satisfy their desire for political control.

Recently Hillary has also been spotted partying at Fox News, with Murdoch and his cronies, and buddying up with the very same Republicans who vociferously tried to get her husband impeached for having sex with another woman.

Whilst her husband has been hanging around with the Bushes, Hillary has also been living it up with the likes of Newt Gingrich, Bill Frist, John McCain and Rick Santorum. There is clearly a bipartisan move underway to shift public perception.

Hillary Clinton supports every Bush policy with as much if not more zeal.

She supported the war and recently again stated that American troops should be kept in Iraq as more sons, daughters, mothers and fathers return in body bags hidden from the media.

"Hillary Clinton today holds the new North American record for fakery," wrote Newsday columnist Jimmy Breslin. "She copies. She sneaks and slithers past you with her opinion on a war that kills every day."

We can make a strong case that Bush and his cadre have set some precedents, but the Democratic opposition offers little hope. Bush spies on Americans with no regard for the Bill of Rights or even the meager statutory restraints imposed on him, and all the Democrats do is whine that they weren’t in on the snooping, and that next time they want to be informed. Of course, they have an interest in keeping the police state healthy and strong. The idea that Hillary Clinton would be more sensitive to civil liberties if she were at the empire’s helm is too absurd for words.

Republican Senators cited Hillary Clinton as the reason for opposing the renewal of the Patriot Act, saying Mrs. Clinton is likely to abuse the security measure if she becomes president - unless additional safeguards are built in.

We have continually exposed how Clinton and the Bushes personally profited from massive drug smuggling operations through Mena, whilst Clinton was Governor of Arkansas. Alex Jones has interviewed multiple former CIA officers who were UNLOADING the cocaine. Bush Snr, then Vice President, met ELEVEN times with the Clintons in the year before Clinton announced his run for President. Teenagers Don Henry and Kevin Ives were murdered for accidentally witnessing a CIA cocaine smuggling operation in Mena. Bill Clinton aided in the cover up, as well as the money laundering. The Clinton-Bush relationship is a long and fruitful one.

The Clintons and the Bushes have been known to vacation together in more recent times. Earlier this year on CBS, Clinton revealed that he looks upon the Bushes as a surrogate family, and how Barbara Bush refers to him as "her son". Is this really a picture of two distinct and opposed political ideologies pitted against one another?

Last year George W invited both Clintons as guests of honor and praised them to the hilt as he unveiled portraits of the two to be hung in the White House. Bush described him as having "...a great compassion for people in need... a man of enthusiasm and warmth". This after Bush's 2000 campaign was built around Clinton having no honor or dignity whilst in the White House.

Festivities continued in November 2004 when the entire Bush family journeyed to Little Rock for the opening of the Clinton Presidential Library. The praise from both President Bushes for Bill Clinton was sick bag overwhelming. "The William J. Clinton Presidential Library is a gift to the future by a man who always believed in the future and today we thank him for loving and serving America." Bush 43 was quoted.

After this Bush Snr and former President Bill Clinton joined forces for Tsunami Relief. They appeared at last year's Super Bowl and seemed to be having a blast together. They declared their friendship; we learn they talk on the phone often, play golf together and are just plain ‘pals.'

The Washington Times revealed that the current President even takes foreign policy advice from Clinton, along with his father, and lets them sit in on CIA briefings.

They again teamed up last year to form a non partisan Katrina relief fund. Why is it that these two get to privately oversee the funds and relief efforts for major global disasters now? Perhaps one reason is that it allows them to personally and directly profit. It was reveled in March this year that Barbara Bush gave relief money to the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund on the condition that it be spent to buy educational software from her son Neil's company.

The tag team serves to create the impression that the two hands together can lift more stones, whilst backstage, behind the scenes both hands are scratching the proverbial behind of the New World Order.

These two families are desperate attention loving power mad elitists and want to retain control of their respective political parties. They are using each other to ‘soften' their disapproval in the opposite party. We have two simultaneous dynasties - the Bushes and the Clintons. The Bushes are the hand of the Republican arm and the Clintons the hand of the Democratic arm. The body is of course controlled by one mind that outranks them all, the corporate fascist elite.

Just as the two major parties - with isolated examples of winning third party candidates - control who can win elections, these two family dynasties control who can be nominated inside their respected parties.

There has not been an occupant in the White House outside of the Bush or Clinton families since 1988. This will seemingly continue through to 2012 and beyond. How can this be in a constitutional republic?

Police State policies such as the Patriot Act, put in place by Bush have set the stage for the next Clinton who will be able to exploit them to extremes far beyond the Republicans would ever dream of being able to. Under another Clinton a horrific event like that at Waco under William J could become an everyday occurrence.

The policies stay the same, the faces alternate. The elite system of control has worked this way for centuries, when it's time for a change one dynasty takes a backseat and the other moves forward.

Strengthening a pragmatic rapprochement, Rupert Murdoch has agreed to give a fund-raiser this summer for Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, the latest sign of cooperation between the conservative media mogul and the Democratic lawmaker who has often been a prime target of his newspaper and television outlets.

Asked about her relationship with Mr. Murdoch, Mrs. Clinton described him as simply "my constituent," and she played down the significance of the fund-raiser. Both sides said that Mr. Murdoch and Mrs. Clinton were joining forces for the good of New York, where Mr. Murdoch's $60 billion News Corporation employs about 5,000 workers.

"I am very gratified that he thinks I am doing a good job," Mrs. Clinton said in the Capitol on Tuesday, according to a transcript made available by her office after word of the fund-raising event was first reported by The Financial Times.

Yet the developing relationship between Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Murdoch — who has built an empire in part on the strength of media outlets like Fox News and The New York Post that delight in skewering the Clintons — has drawn special attention, perplexing some political analysts and infuriating some liberals already suspicious of Mrs. Clinton's centrist positioning. Although she is ostensibly raising money for her re-election to the Senate this year, she is widely considered to be laying the groundwork for a presidential bid in 2008.

"The brazenness of this move is almost too much to stomach," wrote David Sirota, a liberal commentator, on his blog. "Here you have a leading Democratic U.S. senator engaging in a 'mating ritual' with the head of the news network that has overtly worked to systematically destroy both the Democratic Party and her own husband's administration."

Mr. Murdoch, known for his shrewd business skills and his tendency to prize political power over ideology, gave a similar fund-raiser for Senator Charles E. Schumer, also a Democrat, in 2003, and has donated money to several Democrats.

Paul Waldman, a senior fellow at the liberal advocacy group MediaMatters.org, said the outcry from liberals over the Murdoch fund-raiser was to be expected. "People on the left don't like it because they find new things not to like about Hillary all the time," he said. At the same time, he said, Mr. Murdoch would only stand to gain by helping elevate a political figure who helps drive up ratings and circulation.

"Nothing could be better for his media properties than for her to be president of the United States," Mr. Waldman said. "I just can't figure out what's in it for her. She doesn't need the money, and it doesn't really buy her any credentials as a moderate."

How much slack the relationship has bought her is up for debate; while The Post attacked her former Senate opponent, Jeanine F. Pirro, and has praised Mrs. Clinton's work in Washington, her advisers note that the most vocal figures on Fox News still lacerate her frequently.

Nonetheless, both Mrs. Clinton and former President Bill Clinton have nurtured ties to Mr. Murdoch and his organization over the last few years. Mr. Clinton recently accepted an invitation from Mr. Murdoch to speak to a gathering of executives in Pebble Beach, Calif., later this year. He will also include Mr. Murdoch in his Clinton Global Initiative conference on climate change, poverty and corruption this September, for the second year in a row.

"While they disagree on a lot of political issues, they've found some areas, like the Clinton Global Initiative, that transcend politics," said Jay Carson, a spokesman for the Clinton Foundation.

Last month, Mrs. Clinton was one of only two Democratic senators who appeared at a Fox News Sunday anniversary party at the Cafe Milano in Georgetown, where Mr. Murdoch was in attendance.

Mrs. Clinton's office declined to give details of how the Murdoch fund-raiser came about; she rarely divulges her fund-raising calendar and bars the news media from almost all donor events with fewer than 200 guests.

Mr. Murdoch, for his part, is said to view the fund-raiser as a wise business move. His company has numerous holdings beyond the most visible New York media organizations. "I think he, as a constituent, and as a business leader in New York City, wanted to demonstrate his support for the work she has done on behalf of the state and for her advocacy of the city after 9/11," said Gary Ginsberg, a News Corporation executive.

Mr. Ginsberg provides another link between the two camps: he was a White House aide during the Clinton administration. The same is true of Howard Wolfson, one of Mrs. Clinton's closest political advisers, who counts the News Corporation among his clients at the consulting firm Glover Park Group.

Asked to say one nice thing about President Bush, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton went one better: She named two things.

"He is someone who has a lot of charm and charisma, and I think in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, I was very grateful to him for his support for New York," Clinton said Tuesday night during a talk at the National Archives about her life in politics.

Clinton, a potential presidential candidate in 2008, said that despite their "many disagreements about many, many issues," she has always had a good personal relationship with the president.

"He's been very willing to talk. He's been affable. He's been good company," said Clinton, D-N.Y.

The junior senator from New York, who is up for re-election this year, said she is still thankful for Bush's personal commitment to helping rebuild lower Manhattan after Sept. 11, 2001.

She recalled how the president, in the grim days that followed the terror attacks, pledged in a private meeting with New York lawmakers to help rebuild the shattered city.

"It was a very personal, very emotional discussion and when we asked him for the help that New York needed he immediately said yes," said Clinton.

At that meeting, Bush pledged more than $20 billion in aid and tax incentives. Some New York Democrats have since charged the Bush administration has fallen billions of dollars short of that goal because some of the programs were underused, but Clinton said the president kept his promise.

"He always kept it on track," she said. "He made sure we got the resources that we needed and I'm very grateful to him for that. … I am very appreciative in the time when the people I represented needed his help, he was there for us."

An avid Hillary Clinton supporter may have let her enthusiasm get the better of her at a Washington function when she introduced "President Clinton."

The event was sponsored by The White House Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping women succeed in politics.

Among those in attendance were Sen. Clinton; Michelle Bachelet, the recently elected president of Chile; and actress Geena Davis, who plays the first female U.S. president on TV's "Commander in Chief."

When asked if The White House Project is really the Hillary Clinton project, the Chicago Tribune reports, board member Abigail Disney said: "We get that question every single day. The point of our organization is not to drive one woman into one office."

But when Marie Wilson, the group's founder and president, introduced a Chilean soprano who would perform for the gathering, she told the crowd: "And then we will hear from President Clinton."

      Oops.

Later, Bachelet was introduced by Rep. Jan Schakowsky, D.-Ill., as someone "embodying all the societal sins of Chile," according to the Tribune. Schakowsky continued: "Female, socialist, separated and agnostic."

Schakowsky also called Bachelet "an inspiration to those of us who look forward to the day when we'll be led by a woman we can call â?~Madame President.'"
